Help out at an organic farm in exchange for room & board on the farm. Chile has a small but growing sector of organic farmers, most of them working on a small scale. You will be involved in all aspects of farm work, which varies according to the season: in the spring (Sept. – Nov.), it is planting which dominates the schedule; in summer (Dec. – March), harvesting; in the fall, mainly preparing the soil. Winter is slower and tends to be very rainy, so we don’t recommend winter placements unless you are really keen!

Any kind of previous farm experience is very welcome, but not required.
