Volunteer as a camp counselor at a bilingual (English/Spanish) camp for middle-class children ages 8 - 16. Your role is to support the staff in all activities, which include horse-back riding, swimming, hiking, sports, mountain biking, fishing, etc. This position offers a great opportunity to get your Spanish up to speed in an enjoyable environment, working with children while also helping them improve their English. This is an excellent 'starter' position for someone wanting to get grounded in Chile before going on to other activities.
